GIVING TALENTED STUDENTS PROFESSIONAL PERFORMING ARTS EXPERIENCE

In June of 2014, Lyric Performing Arts Academy (LPAA) was founded by three African American women (all Oakland natives) to provide Oakland youth with purposeful and affordable music, theater and dance education. Blessed to open the business with few resources, we are now in a position to expand our services.

Lyric Performing Arts Academy offers classes to students in spite of their family's ability to pay. We have students who have been / are in foster care, who have survived physical and sexual abuse, and whose parents struggle with addiction. We know that without guidance and stability, these talented students can easily slip through the cracks.

This is where our wonderful donors come in. With your help, we can reach even more students. We can provide more scholarships, expand our services and continue doing the work we were called to do.

THANK YOU
